Had to get a new truck the cam bearings in the tahoe are messed up that is how we ended up with metal in the engine oil. my New truck 2013 Cadillac Escalade extended.

Hi everyone, Sorry I have been missing when it rains its pours my trucks engine has gone out ...kinda we hope, but yeah, been tracking down a vacuum leak just to find out it was an engine issue. So I'm back to having no truck ......AGAIN.

I have yet to get truck going after installing a new fuel pump & harness cause I got wrangled into a full time job & just did it this weekend. We need the money so I'm not terribly upset, but I hurt & no longer have any time in the weekdays to do much. VA is ignoring me. I will bring that up at tonight's town hall meeting. Time to get ready for work. Dawn, I hope you find another rig soon!
Hell No i have 10 trucks. I don't need another. we started noticing that the truck had a vibration and she threw 2 codes which were the o2 sensors so we replaced them then i had a 102 code MAF sensor so we replaced the fuel filter spark plugs spark plug wires the IAC, TCM, and the spider injectors and the crank posision sensor still had vibration so we checked transmission its good then we went to give the engine a oil change and found metal in the oil. My '99 Tahoe has a hydraulic roller camshaft, so we ting that might be what the problem is. But we are also getting a new transmission for the camo Dodge, and we are gonna get the K10 up and running. VA, I have always heard bad things about them ignoring vets, they are assholes. Hope you have a good day.
