The circle is about to be cast
Let none be here but of their own free will
Pick up your matches and move to the East and light the East candle saying :
Here do i bring into the East light and Air to illuminate
this circle and bring it the breath of life.
The South candle lit saying :
Here do i bring into the South light and Fire to illuminate
this circle and bring it warmth.
The West candle lit saying :
Here do i bring into the West light and Water to illuminate
this circle and wash it clean
The North candle lit saying :
Here do i bring into the North light and Earth to illuminate
this circle and build it in strength.
Return to your altar and say :
This circle line i now prepare,
Let no one enter should they dare,
This sacred place i dedicate
Filled with love never hate
So Mote It Be .
Pick up your athame or wand or use the index finger of your dominate hand and draw a circle
in the air starting at the East reaching the South, West and then North and back to the East.
Next touch the salt on your altar with the athame , wand or index finger and say :
As salt is life, let it purify me so i may use it to cleans
my body and spirit in honor of the God and Goddess.
Put three pinches of salt in the water dish then raise your hand high, pointing your athame, wand or
index finger upwards, feeling the energy flowing into your arm, put your athame, wand or index
finger into the water stir three times saying :
Salt is life, here is life, blessed be without strife, Salt is life, here is life
blessed be without strife, Salt is life, here is life, sacred be without strife
Sprinkle the salted water round the circle edge starting at the East moving to the South , the West
and the North and back to the East. Return to your altar and put down the consecrated water.
Light any altar candle and your incense then pick up your athame, wand or use your index finger
to call the elemental guardians by drawing pentacles in the air saying :
With Air, Fire, Water, and Earth i purify and charge you, East
Hail guardians of the watchtower of the East i invoke you { insert the name
of the god or goddess of your choice } come by the air that is
your breath, may you stand in strength ever watching over
this circle.
With Fire, Water, Earth and Air i purify and charge you, South
Hail guardians of the watchtower of the South i invoke you { insert the name
of the god or goddess of your choice } come by the fire that is
your spirit , may you stand in strength ever watching over
this circle.
With Water, Earth, Air and Fire i purify and charge you, West
Hail guardians of the watchtower of the West i invoke you { insert the name
of the god or goddess of your choice } come by the waters of your
earthy womb that gives us life, may you stand in strength ever
watching over this circle.
With Earth, Air, Fire and Water i purify and charge you, North
Hail guardians of the watchtower of the North i invoke you { insert name
of god or goddess of your choice } come by the earth that is
your body, may you stand in strength ever watching over
this circle.
Take a drink from the chalice and focus your mind on the God and the Goddess. Then, standing
in the Goddess position with your arms held high invoke the Goddess energy into yourself
and say :
Lady you have been known by many, I worship and adore you and invite
you to join me in body and spirit. Be with me and guide me in the true ways.
Pick up your athame, wand or use your index finger and draw a pentacle in the air
above you and below you and say :
you are here and i thank you for the gifts you have given and i know that
you only help those who help themselves I ask :
For our blessings we thank the Goddess
and think on those who have much less
No food on their tables, no bed to rest in
No roof to shelter them from rain
Good health and happiness, good people around them
No-one and nothing to ease their pain
Let us give to those in need
With hearts and pockets and thought and deed
An it harm none, do what thou will
What we send forth will return thrice over,
So we send it forth with light and love
So Mote It Be.
Visualize your prayers and wishes rising to the Moon Goddess. Pick up the chalice or cup in your left
hand and the athame or wand in your right hand and hold them at eye level then place the point of
the athame or wand or your index finger into the wine and say :
May Male and Female be joined and let all be fruitful throughout the land
The food i eat is the blessing of the Gods and i remember those who have none
I am grateful for all i have been given and am open and ready to receive
that which is still to come. So Mote It Be.
We have met in love and friendship let us part the same way, spreading the love
from this circle outward to all, sharing it with those we meet. Lord and Lady
my thanks to you for sharing this time with me, guarding and guiding me.
Merry we meet, Merry we part, Merry we meet again.

Take for your use, Eastern watchtower, any powers of Air that have not been used.
Take for your use, Southern watchtower, any powers of Fire that have not been used.
Take for your use, Western watchtower, any powers of Water that have not been used.
Take for your use, Northern watchtower, any powers of Earth that have not been used.
The circle is now closed , but the work continues.
